Bharti Yadav

Bharti Yadav is the daughter of the politicians D. P. Yadav and Umlesh Yadav. In 2002, she fell in love with Nitish Katara, a 24-year-old business executive who was a student in her college. However, her brother and her cousin were against this relationship. Subsequently, Nitish was abducted and killed by her brother Vikas Yadav. [1][2]

Bharti Yadav got married on November 1, 2009 to the 27 year old Gurgaon-based MNC executive Yatin Rao. Rao is son of a Haryana government official and his mother is a lecturer in a government college in Gurgaon. His younger sister Pooja Rao is studying. The family lives in Sector 31 in Gurgaon. Rao’s maternal uncle and socialist Dr J.N. Yadav of Mahendergarh played the key role in arranging the marriage.[3][4][5]
